If you’re even more of an adventurer, you might want to check out Skydive Perris. Learn how to skydive or go up with an instructor and dive. For those who like the idea but just aren’t quite brave enough to try it, an indoor facility lets you dive where it’s safer. A simulator pumps out jets of air to make it feel like you’re in the air. No matter what you choose, you’ll enjoy a rush.
Orange Empire Railway Museum
Learn more about the primary way of traveling in prior days when you see the largest collection of locomotives in the western United States. You’ll see passenger trains, freight cars, and even electric cars and streetcars, some of which go back to the 1870’s. With more than 200 train cars on display, you’ll want to plan a couple of hours to spend at the museum.
Ya’i Heki’ Regional Indian Museum Lake Perris
Tour a museum dedicated to Native Americans who lived in this area before the settlers arrived. You’ll learn about their history and see arts and crafts that reflect that culture. Special demonstrations and lectures tell you more about the tribes that made the Moreno Valley area their home.
Moreno Valley Mall
Spend an afternoon or all day shopping in mall that spans 87 acres. The mall takes up two levels and contains both numerous shops and eateries. There’s also a theater that features 16 screens. No matter what you might be in need of or interested in buying, you’re sure to find it here.
