Madonna of the Trail
Get inspired by this monument series, which features 12 statutes of the pioneer woman from the 19th and early 20th centuries. One of the monuments is located in Upland even though it had originally been planned for San Bernardino. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the statue can be found on Euclid Avenue.
The Grove Theatre
Take in a live performance at this historic theater, which was built in 1947. The architecture will captivate you as much as the show with the Art Deco style. Today, you can see national touring performances while enjoying the many original design features. You’ll want to pay special attention to the marquee façade, which is an icon.
Cooper Regional History Museum
Learn about the local culture and history of the area at this museum. Founded in 1965, the museum was once located in a building that was the local fruit exchange, but it stopped operations in the 1960’s. The former fruit exchange building is now an exhibit center for agricultural artifacts. The main location is downtown with number exhibits from the early days of the city.
Trapped Escape Room
Spend an hour trying to figure out how to get out of a room. While it sounds easy, the clues can be quite difficult to decipher even with a group. There are three themed rooms, including a Sector 13 room that is an underground laboratory. While the place is family-friendly, some rooms are designed more for teens and adults while others are suitable for all ages.
